Role Description
This is an on-site, part time role for 2 days a week (must include a Friday) based in Leyton. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to individuals with disabilities, facilitating activities and skills development, and ensuring the well-being of the individuals under their care in a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment. You’ll be part of a friendly team and will be expected to work flexibly across the service to ensure client needs are met.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in supporting adults with learning and associated disabilities
- GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths
- Ability to work well in a team and independently where required
- Ability to use own initiative to respond to client’s needs.
