Role Description

This is an on-site, part time role for 2 days a week (must include a Friday) based in Leyton. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to individuals with disabilities, facilitating activities and skills development, and ensuring the well-being of the individuals under their care in a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment. You’ll be part of a friendly team and will be expected to work flexibly across the service to ensure client needs are met.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous experience in supporting adults with learning and associated disabilities
  • GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently where required
  • Ability to use own initiative to respond to client’s needs.

A full UK driver’s licence, first aid qualifications or a NVQ2 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) would be an added bonus! If you are passionate about empowering others, motivated by making a difference and have a positive outlook and sense of fun, we’d love to hear from you.
